For the second year in a row, TEDxToronto is proud to support Toronto's Open Roof Festival. Open Roof is an outdoor music and film festival that gives Toronto movie lovers a summer experience like no other, highlighting independent filmmakers and artists from Canada and around the world.
This year, Open Roof Festival has moved into a beautiful new outdoor home. The films are screened down by the waterfront, at 175 Queens Quay East. No better way to spend a hot summer night than by watching a great movie under the stars!
Members of the TEDxToronto team will be onsite next Thursday, July 25 for the Canadian Premiere of Unhung Hero. This film tells the story of one man's personal quest to answer the age-old question: does size matter? Join us as we watch this humorous and brave story unfold.
Our speaker video from Mark Bowden will make its big screen debut before the film. We hope to encourage movie-goers to apply to attend TEDxToronto 2013 on September 26 as we explore our theme "the choices we make".
Like TEDxToronto, Open Roof Festival is a non-profit event and is run completely by volunteers. All the money raised from ticket sales supports Canada’s independent film production community. We're incredibly proud to support the Open Roof community and we're grateful for the unique summer experiences they provide to our city.
Tickets to Thursday's screening of Unhung Hero are available for purchase here.
