From TEDxToronto alumni speakers taking explorers on a tour of Graffiti Alley to re-learn how art is in everything we see, to walking through the local neighborhoods on a crime tour of cold cases in Toronto with an alumni detective. We’ve taken delegates on an insightful food tour in the heart of little Persia to not only taste; but to learn the historical shifts in these foods and cultures, to a documentary screening on the dialogue of Indigenous land rights with an incredible activist and Storyteller.
TEDxToronto Adventures were designed to open up channels of conversations to the TED Mission of Ideas worth Spreading. We want to engage members of the community across Toronto and the GTHA and enable access to our more intimate events that open access to these incredible Community experiences. Adventures are designed for creating deeper connections through our TED Talks in smaller group gatherings. Our TED Adventure curators want to ensure that individuals that are facing access and financial barriers are able to access our content and are designed to enhance our mission of Ideas Worth Spreading in the Community.
